Found some nice quotes

I found these quotes while digging. I will comment on each of them, just for the purpose of updating my blog :p I will spread the comments so I won’t run out of quotes just yet :)

Well, actually I do agree with some (majority) of those quotes. I disagree with some, though. Let’s start.

The fact that a believer is happier than a sceptic is no more to
the point than the fact that a drunken man is happier than a sober one.
The happiness of credulity is a cheap and dangerous quality.
- George Bernard Shaw

credulity: a disposition to believe too readily
sober: not drunk

Good analogy. For those of you who have never got drunk before, you probably won’t understand. I’ve been drunk a couple of times, and those times I really feel that I’m sober.

The problem is, I’m not. When one is drunk, he is drunk.

Now, we sometimes hear people saying: "you can never have real happiness without God". I’d say bullshit.

How do you define happiness? Oh yeah, I know. You define real happiness as being in a state of happiness being with God. /sarcasm
